The best trading alert is not the one that fires first

A useful alert should preserve context, explain what changed and make the next action obvious without creating another notification feed.

Detection is cheap. Attention is expensive.

Modern systems can detect hundreds of market events. Sending all of them to the trader creates a new problem: the trader must now filter the alert system instead of the market.

The useful threshold is not whether an event can be detected. It is whether the event changes something the trader actually cares about.

Preserve the why

An alert should include the market state that made the event relevant. A level touch in a strong trend is not the same thing as the same touch inside a range.

Context makes the alert actionable because the trader can understand what changed without rebuilding the entire market picture from scratch.

Let the alert start a workflow

The best alert is interactive: open the chart, explain the evidence, mute similar events, disable the alert or continue into a trade plan. That turns a notification into a decision surface.
